1) With Black, SC 6 in magic circle. Use a yarn marker to mark the beginning of each round. (6)

2) With Black, Work 2 SC in each stitch around. (12)

3) With Black, Work 2 SC in each stitch around. (24)

4) With Black, Work 1 SC in each stitch around. (24)

5) With Black, *Work 1 SC in next stitch, and 2 SC in the same stitch. *Repeat 12 times (36)

6) With Black, Work 1 SC in each stitch around. (36)

7) With Black, *Work 1 SC in each of the next 2 stitches, and 2 SC in the same stitch. *Repeat 12 times (48)

8) With Black, Work 1 SC in each stitch around. (48)

9) With Black, *Work 1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches and 2 SC in the same stitch. *Repeat 12 times. (60)

10) With Black, Work 1 SC in each stitch around. (60)

1) Ch 8.

2) Starting in 2nd ch from hook, Work 2 SC in the same chain, 1 SC in each of the next 5 chains, and 2 SC in the same chain. Then working along the other side of the chain, Work 2 SC in the same chain, and 1 SC in each of the next 5 chains, and 2 SC in the same chain. (18)

3) Continue working in rounds. Work 2 SC in the same stitch, 1 SC in each of the next 7 stitches, 2 SC in each of the next 2 stitches, 1 SC in each of the next 7 stitches, and 2 SC in the same stitch. (22)

4) Work 2 SC in the same stitch, 1 SC in each of the next 9 stitches, 2 SC in each of the next 2 stitches, 1 SC in each of the next 9 stitches, and 2 SC in the same stitch. (26)
