1) With Pumpkin, SC 6 in magic circle. Use a yarn marker to mark the beginning of each round. (6)

2) Work 2 SC in each stitch around. (12)

3) Work 2 SC in each stitch around. (24)

4) Work 1 SC in each stitch around. (24)

5) *Work 1 SC in next stitch, and 2 SC in the same stitch. *Repeat 12 times (36)

6) Work 1 SC in each stitch around. (36)

7) *Work 1 SC in each of the next 2 stitches, and 2 SC in the same stitch. *Repeat 12 times (48)

8) Work 1 SC in each stitch around. (48)

Adult XL Size: Add an additional row here. *Work 1 SC in the next 13 stitches and 2 SC in the same stitch. *Repeat 6 times. [90]

15 - 33) Work 1 SC in each stitch around. (84 [90] [78] [72])

Slip Stitch in first stitch in round.
Finish off and weave in ends.

EYES

(Make 2)

1) With Black, SC 4 in magic circle. (4)

2) Ch 1 and turn, Work 1 SC in the first stitch and Work 1 HDC and 2 DC all in the next stitch, Work 2 DC and 1 HDC all in the next stitch, and 1 SC in the next stitch. (8)

3) Ch 1 and turn, Work 1 SC in each the next 2 stitches, 2 HDC in the next stitch, 2 DC in the next 2 stitches, 2 HDC in the next stitch, and 1 SC in each the next 2 stitches. (12)

4) (Not a full round) With Teal, work 7 SC along the bottom of the eye.

Finish off and leave tail to sew to hat.

PUPIL
