1) With Red, SC 4 in magic circle. (4)

2) Ch 1 and turn, Work 1 SC in the first stitch and Work 1 HDC and 2 DC all in the next stitch, Work 2 DC and 1 HDC all in the next stitch, and 1 SC in the next stitch. (8)

3) Ch 1 and turn, Work 1 SC in each the next 2 stitches, 2 HDC in the next stitch, 2 DC in the next 2 stitches, 2 HDC in the next stitch, and 1 SC in each the next 2 stitches. (12)

Finish off and leave tail to sew to hat.

WHITE ON SIDE OF EYE

FOR RIGHT:

With White, Slip stitch into the bottom right SC of the eye. (This is the 1st stitch in row 3 of the eye.)

Ch 2, and work 1 HDC in the same stitch, work 2 HDC in the next 2 stitches, work 2 SC in the next stitch, and 1 SC in the next, and slip stitch in the next stitch.

Finish off and leave tail to sew to hat.

FOR LEFT:

With White, Slip stitch in to the top left SC of the eye. (This is the 7th stitch in row 3 of the eye.)

Work 1 SC in the next stitch, work 2 SC in the next stitch, work 2 HDC in the next 3 stitches.

Finish off and leave tail to sew to hat.

PUPIL

(Make 2)

1) With White, SC 6 in magic circle.

Slip Stitch in the first stitch in round.
